Back from Denver

Melody and Ella got back from Denver Monday night safe and sound. They managed to avoid several tornadoes, one of which touched down only ten minutes from where they were staying. They were planning to go to the Aurora mall that afternoon, but luckily they decided not to, because much of the mall was damaged and had to be shut down. Many car windows were smashed out and one car reportedly was even flipped on its roof by the tornado. They also experienced a crazy hail storm. Look how big these hail stones are!

They had a good time visiting friends there. It was her friend Michelle's baby shower, and Melody was in charge of cooking most of the food.
Ella made lots of friends at the Denver airport.
It was great to have them back after worrying about all that crazy Colorado weather.
