Practice Makes Perfect

As I was taught by my Dad, the correct saying should be "perfect practice makes perfect." Don't worry, I am not coming down on Ella yet for bad practice habits. But being a pianist, I of course can't help myself in putting her in front of the piano pretty often. Now don't set your calendars yet for Ella's Carnegie Hall debut...but we are getting a kick out of how long she stays interested when we seat her at the keys. Seeing her apparent occasional frustration in this video clip, I know someone will mention it, so I will go ahead and say it...Does it remind you of anyone???

As a side note, we have created a youtube account to save on storage space on blogger.

well as her nan, of course i think she shows great potential. Get ready Curtis Institute! I think she might also be a vocalist in the making.

Ella is not a shy piano player! She attacks those keys aggressively! She's imitating her daddy :). What a sweetie. She is getting more beautiful every day. Still thinking about your visit. It was so fun!

cute...really cute! but you have to appreciate that it takes about 1/2 hour to load up the youtube (via my dial-up) to catch a quick glimpse of this little cutey-pie banging, and even attempting to eat the keys... and each glimpse separated by another "endless minutes" before catching a new pose!!! even a GREAT-grandmother has some difficulty hanging in there!... but i am patient, and she is adorable! love to all

thanks gram! i actually think twice every time I'm about to post a video, because I know you probably won't be able to see it...anyway, glad you can catch at least bits and pieces. thanks for your patience!!! i have to say, you comment more than the "other" dial-up user, Uncle Randy!!! haha.

Too funny watching Ella at the keyboard....brings back memories of Jay at that age. A little frustration there? Wonder if you'll eventually end up with a hole in your wall!?!
