1. Ella in a sitting position
2. She starts rocking to and fro, not sure if she wants to go forward
3. Curiosity gets the best of her, and she goes forward onto all fours
4. Goes down flat on her stomach
5. Hates this position, and lifts all 4 limbs up into a skydiver-like position, while at the same time letting out a cry of displeasure
6. Rolls over onto her back
7. Squirms and flails her arms like a bug, then sits up again with some help
8. Repeat steps 2-7
The past 2 or 3 days, she has begun taking one or two "crawling" movements if there is something in front of her she really wants. Don't have any video of it yet, but she can also go to a virtual standing position as long as she has something to hold on to, like someone's leg or her bongo's. I guess it is time to start child-proofing...
In terms of food, she will eat pretty much anything, as long as it is "real" food and vegetarian. She especially loves string beans from our favorite Chinese restaurant, Hop Li. We've been there a couple times in the past week or so.

She even learned how to use chopsticks! (just kidding)

Prior to this past week, whenever we sat Ella on the piano bench, she would be more interested in the music on the music rack than the keys. Lately though, she has begun "playing" the keys more and more. She hits the keys mostly with her right hand, which is throwing into question our theory that she is left-handed.

Check out those tree-trunk legs!
