So, tonight and tomorrow, we'll finish up our packing (I haven't started getting my stuff together yet) and hopefully be all set by Sunday morning. Right now, our tiny place is strewn with all sorts of clothes and belongings. We have found it's much different packing for the three of us and we have to keep reminding ourselves that Ella doesn't need every single thing she owns on the trip. Thankfully, Nan has worked overtime to acquire as many baby related items as possible on the East Coast (Thanks Mom! You're the best!)

i am picturing your apt w/ stuff strewn from one end to the other. How fun tho! It is our pleasure to provide whatever Ella may need for very first OCNJ trip. We anxiously await your arrival. My car is completely packed already mostly w/ Ella items!! Can't wait.

will be thinking of you lots while you're there! just promise to send or snapfish lots of pictures so i can at least pretend i was there :( I'll be praying for a safe, and smooth flight for you 3.. can't imagine trying to get everything ready for the little one!! will miss you so much, esp in this next week
laur, i think we will be missing u more than you are missing us. I know i speak for us all. Our family is not complete w/o you! We love you and know you are where God has you right now. There will be other family vacations! We will skype!!!!

i wanted to take a picture of our 3 cars packed full with SO much stuff today before we left, but i forgot!!! :( it would have made such a good story about how one little person now means we take 3 CARS to the shore! laur, i miss you so much i can't even put it into words. it makes me tear up just to think about how much i want you to be here. i'll send you lots of pictures i promise! and hey, everyone who looks at them (including you and me) will probably mistake me for you in some of them anyway!! love you
Dude, watch out for the skee-ball at the boardwalk - sometimes I think they cheat on the tickets, and you're going to need every point you can get if you're going to bring home that killer boogie board I know you've had your eye on...
