Milestones

We try as much as possible to not be those obnoxious kind of parents that obsess over every little thing their newborn does, especially since we're first time parents, and EVERYTHING is a big deal to us. That being said, here are the recent developments in Ella-land:
We mentioned previously that Ella turned herself over from tummy to back for the first time on Father's Day. Unfortunately, it wasn't captured well on video, but we have a repeat performance documented here, albeit with a teensy weensy bit of help (Melody's repositioning the arm for optimum leverage).
Yesterday we went to the park with some people from Ella's class at church. Ella was really loving the outdoors, and getting all excited. She started this laughing/blowing bubbles thing which you can see from the next video.

Today, we converted the Bugaboo stroller from bassinet mode to stroller SEAT mode (which you're not really supposed to do until around 6 months I think). But, Ella thinks she's a toddler already. She much prefers to sit or stand so she can see the world and what is going on. In fact, she has pretty much always hated lying flat, or being constricted or confined in any small space (i.e. her car seat).
This is the Bugaboo in its "Toddler Seat Mode"....oooh....(insert golf clap here)

For a reminder of what this complicated contraption looked like as a bassinet (which Ella hated), click here

It took a few minutes for her to get used to this new stroller mode
But after one trip around the block, she was as happy as a clam...
HAPPY STROLLING ELLA!

Good job, Ella! She's already ahead of her class. Amazing performance. Course, I might be a bit biased, but I KNOW amazing when I see it.
