Yardwork

Ella got out her shovel and rake a couple weeks ago to help outside with a little cleanup. She was very adamant about cleaning up the leaves, which makes good sense, since she comes from a long line of female organizers on both sides.

AFTER

Before you say anything...Yes, those concrete steps are in need of some repair. And although we've lived here for six years, we have yet to see the grass in this spot grow properly. We've had problems with gophers and bad gardeners which probably at least partially explains it. With Ella now taking interest in spiffing up the place, I think it's time I hired her to take a look and see if she can do something about it :)

yes you will hear from us, but of course only after some nudging from mom.. i definitely have that gene but i must say my tendencies have decreased somewhat with the existence of a maid :) sorry.. i'm spoiled.. and yes, that means you should all come move to peru so you don't have to be so neurotic about the cleanliness. just think you could all retire here.. makes a great place considering how respectful they are of the elderly (uh oh.. mom and dad you're getting pretty close with the big 6-0) :)
