I thought Ella could use some relief last week, so I filled up her little pool a couple times. Up to then, she had only enjoyed the pool from outside while just reaching her hands in to splash the water a bit. It didn't take much coaxing, however, to help her notice the fun of "swimming" on a hot summer day.
The biggest feat was simply getting this pool blown up! Whew! Ella kept trying to rip my mouth off the nozzle as I was putting air in it. It was worth it though, as you can see. I was only wishing there was an adult sized pool next to it!

those are hard to blow up! I remember getting lightheaded while doing it.

LOL! I'm picturing you huffing and puffing, sighing and moaning the whole time. what love will do to you, huh? you should get the bigger pool, like i had for the boys. i WOULD sit in that one. target for $25 - not bad!
