The Dancing Guy

Erin has season tickets to the Philadelphia Flyers, so Pop and I went down with her and her roommate Brian Tuesday night to catch the Flyers/Penguins game. The Flyers have been having a pretty good season, but last night was not one of their better games. For some reason, every time I go to a Philly team's game, they LOSE. Well, in spite of the loss, and their poor performance, the game was very entertaining. The fans are reason enough to go to a hockey game in the City of Brotherly Love.
The fans' favorite activity is the "Sucks" chant, in which almost everyone in the place shouts "Sucks!" whenever the announcer mentions the opposing team's players. Example:

Announcer: "And now, playing for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Sidney Crosby!"

Fans: "SUCKS!"

Very fun. And they don't ever seem to get tired of it...But what we really enjoyed was the Dancing Guy, who apparently is famous amongst Flyers fans. A very enthusiastic fan who takes his 3rd period role extremely seriously. He even goes so far as to limber up and clear the area for his big moment. We were sitting in very close proximity and even made it on the jumbo screen as a result. I captured my own footage.

So despite the 4-2 loss, it was a fun night.
