Routine

Ella's been in our lives for over two months now. It's hard to believe, the time has gone by so quickly. Melody has been back to work now for a couple weeks, and we are adjusting to everyone's new schedule. She is only working four days a week, so she gets nice three day weekends with Ella. It is still hard though, every Tuesday morning, to leave Ella. We feel more busy, and it can be hard to find time for everything, but we are doing as well as can be expected I think. It feels like we're settling into a nice routine now. Also, Ella's had some firsts in the past few weeks (see pics below). Overall, we are adjusting to Ella and her patterns, what she needs, etc. We no longer worry about every little cough, round of hiccups, or "bathroom no. 2 regularity." And I think she just might be getting more and more comfortable with us as her parents too! We couldn't imagine life without her! Attending her first B-Day party at the park. It was over 100 degrees there. Daddy giving Ella a bath for the first time by himself. At a Teppan syle Japanese restaurant in Pasadena for Auntie Irish and Uncle Clint's engagement lunch.

She is the most beautiful little baby girl of this new century. There, I saved myself from dissing my beautiful "original" nieces.
I love the shot of you bathing her...ever so gently. You're such awesome parents. Keep up the good work.
Love you all!

she looks like she has grown so much since we've seen her last! i can't believe. tell her to stop growing and changing until i can see her again!! (dad, remember when you used to tell us that as kids? to stop growing and stay that age forever?)
